CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – Sudanese Physiological Society SPS 2022 Conference

The Scientific Committee pleased to invite authors to submit abstracts for Oral or Poster presentation to be delivered at the 1st SPS Conference 2022.

All abstracts must be submitted via the email: sps.conference1@gmail.com

 Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Abstracts will be reviewed on a rolling basis
2. All appropriate abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
3. All abstracts received will be acknowledged, and authors will be sent acceptance or rejection letters by 5 January 2022.
4. Please note that the presenter of the accepted abstract must register and all costs, including registration fees, are for the author’s own expense.
5. Please read the following guidelines carefully before preparing your abstract

 Preparing and Formatting an Abstract:

1. The maximum length of an abstract is 350 words; this count excludes the abstract title, authors and their designations.
2. Abstracts can only be submitted via email: sps.conference1@gmail.com
3. Abstracts must be submitted in English
4. No references, tables or graphics should be included in the abstract
5. When using abbreviations within the body of the abstract, please spell out the name in full at first mention and follow with the abbreviation in parenthesis.
6. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure abstract text does not contain any typos or grammatical errors. The SPS will not be responsible for any errors published.
7. No changes can be made after the abstract deadline has passed.

 Each abstract must clearly state the following:

1. Abstract title (the title of the abstract must not exceed 20 words)
2. Name of contributing author(s). The name of the presenting author must appear first in the list of authors. Affiliation of all author(s). Contact details of the first author (telephone numbers, e-mail address, etc..)
3. Abstracts must be typed in English, single line spacing.
4. The body of the text must not exceed 350 words (this excludes the information listed in point 1)

 Please adhere to the following format:

1. background: should be brief and informative and state the aim of the study
2. Methods: include a description of subjects and research methodology
3. Results: outline the findings of the study supported by statistics as appropriate. Do not use figures, graphs or tables in the abstract. The data provided must be sufficient to permit peer review of the abstract
4. Conclusion: provide summary and relevance of the main findings

Note:

All accepted abstracts will be published without further editing or as article (paper) after editing on Sudanese Physiological Society journal
